Cats are not small dogs. They are obligate carnivores that need taurine from their diet, and their liver has a limited capacity for glucuronidation, one of the main pathways the body uses to clear many plant compounds and drugs. That is why ingredients common in human and dog supplements, from certain essential oils to heavy polyphenols, can be a poor fit for cats. Never give a cat a supplement made for people.
NKat for Cats is formulated around feline physiology to support normal kidney function and healthy immune function as cats age. It pairs a chitosan and calcium carbonate complex that binds dietary phosphorus in the gut with algae-sourced omega-3 (EPA/DHA), turkey tail beta-glucan, taurine, L-carnitine and methyl-B12 with B-complex. It is made without cat-unsafe botanicals, essential oils or heavy polyphenols.
