SciRouter Vet is the AI workspace for canine cancer — built for the pet parents navigating a diagnosis and the veterinarians caring for them. The platform delivers educational answers with citations, clinical-trial alerts, and a calm place to keep everything together. Launching this year, free for owners.
SciRouter Vet is the AI workspace for canine cancer. The platform delivers educational answers with citations to owner questions, daily clinical-trial monitoring across AVMA, NCI COTC, and 12 university registries, and a calm workspace for tracking the journey alongside a veterinarian. The same infrastructure runs DarkScan V2 (our neoantigen pipeline) and Sci-JEPA v1.0 (a 1.8B-parameter cross-species disease model) for vet schools and referral hospitals on the partner side. Free for pet parents forever; free atlas + 2 cases/month for credentialed veterinarians. Launching this year.
SciRouter Vet is building the AI operating system for precision veterinary medicine, with canine cancer as the wedge into cross-species drug discovery. One in four dogs will face cancer; for the most common malignancies, the standard of care has not meaningfully changed in fifteen years. The platform pairs educational content with sources for pet parents with clinical-decision support for practicing veterinarians, on top of a production AI stack that includes DarkScan V2 (a neoantigen discovery pipeline with a ~700–1,000× speedup over naive enumeration), Sci-JEPA v1.0 (a 1.8B-parameter cross-modal joint-embedding model trained on 1.8 million disease, protein, and compound triples), and Prism (a typed-dispatch agent harness with full provenance ledger). For pet parents, the experience is a free workspace with AI Q&A grounded in educational content with sources, daily clinical-trial alerts across AVMA, NCI COTC, and twelve US university trial registries, and a journal for tracking symptoms, medications, and quality of life. For veterinarians, the experience is free atlas access (cross-species disease retrieval), branded patient handouts, and lightweight case submission. Institutional partners co-author publications and access the data spine. SciRouter Vet was founded by Ryan Bethencourt (founder of IndieBio and Wild Earth) and is raising a $2M seed round to launch the pet parent portal and the first canine mRNA cancer vaccine clinical case studies in 2026.

Ryan Bethencourt is the founder and CEO of SciRouter Vet. He previously founded IndieBio (one of the most active biotech accelerators globally), Berkeley BioLabs, and Wild Earth.
He has spent two decades building bio + AI companies and brings an explicit mandate to apply frontier ML to veterinary oncology — a category that has lagged human oncology by roughly fifteen years despite spontaneous canine tumors being some of the cleanest molecular analogs to human pediatric cancers known.
